About this role
Our Takeaway Payments (TP) team is the regulated backbone of Just Eat Takeaway.com (JET). As a Compliance Officer, you will Lead by navigating the high-speed regulatory landscape to safeguard our integrity. You’ll Deliver results by developing robust frameworks and show you Care by collaborating to protect our business from financial crime. This role offers a unique front-row seat to the evolution of the global payments sector.
These are some of the Key Ingredients to the role
- Assist in drafting precise policies for new regulations like Payment Services Directive 3 (PSD3), ensuring flawless integration into daily operations.
- Analyze data to support Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA) and prepare high-level insights for management dashboards.
- Act as a strategic partner and first point of contact for business teams, providing pragmatic guidance to move forward safely.
- Develop and lead engaging training sessions to foster high levels of compliance awareness and excellence across the organization.
- Prepare documentation and manage routine queries from supervisory authorities, such as the Dutch Central Bank (DNB).
- Conduct monitoring of transactions and sanction screening to quickly identify and resolve potential risks.
- Proactively share knowledge and maintain "audit-ready" records to drive continuous process improvement and team growth.
What will you bring to the team?
- Knowledge of European payments and Financial Crime frameworks, including Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD).
- Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English to advise local and international stakeholders.
- An analytical mindset with a passion for diving into data to spot non-compliance issues before they arise.
- A collaborative spirit that thrives on team wins, ownership of results, and constructive feedback.
