Our client is an IT product company in the fintech industry, founded in 2015, with a global team of over 110 professionals. The company has had a Sofia office since 2019, where a team of developers works on an innovative platform ensuring secure transactions for clients worldwide.
As a global provider of payment services, the company operates a PCI Level 1 certified gateway specializing in online payment processing, risk management, and fraud prevention. With offices in more than six countries, it offers a comprehensive payment solution tailored to support clients ranging from start-ups to large-scale partner operations.
Their services cover credit and debit card payments, alternative and contactless payment methods, as well as various local payment options. To continue developing cutting-edge products, the company is expanding its R&D team and is now looking for an experienced DevOps / SecOps Engineer.
A hybrid work model is offered following the completion of the onboarding period.
DevOps / SecOps Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-availability and high-performance environments.
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions focused on scalability and security.
- Develop internal tools and processes to enhance service reliability and efficiency.
- Work with large datasets, data warehousing, real-time analytics, and anti-fraud systems.
- Contribute to quality initiatives focusing on stability, performance, and code security.
- Collaborate on the company’s bug bounty program and drive platform hardening efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator.
- Proven hands-on experience working with at least one major cloud provider.
- Deep knowledge of Linux administration and performance tuning.
- Solid Shell scripting skills (the company uses Shellcheck)
- A good grasp of cloud security challenges (IAM, SAML, Config, CloudTrail).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD or GitHub Actions.
- Experience managing heavy-load systems and globally distributed asset pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in English.
