Head of Accounting
Responsibilities:
- Lead, organize and motivate a team of 10+ accounting professionals, ensuring clear priorities, accountability and effective workload management;
- Monitor the team’s performance, deadlines and overall efficiency;
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients;
- Support the team with complex accounting cases, providing guidance and helping find practical solutions;
- Support the onboarding and development of team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture;
- Work closely with management and other team leads to improve processes, service quality and overall team effectiveness.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in accounting, with a solid understanding of the full accounting cycle;
- Previous experience as a Chief Accountant, Accounting Manager, Team Lead or in a similar leadership position;
- Proven people management experience and a genuine interest in developing, supporting and motivating team members;
- Previous experience in an accounting firm, outsourcing or professional services environment;
- Fluency in English language.
