The Junior Buyer is a procurement professional who supports the Purchasing Department in sourcing goods for the company’s various sales channels. This role works closely with the Senior Buyer to ensure that the company’s supply needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining high quality standards.

 
  • Job requirements
    • Completed higher education

    • Excellent computer skills: (Word, Excel, Outlook); at least intermediate Excel proficiency (e.g., SUMIF, ROUND, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, filters, tables, pivot tables, Outlook)

    • Experience with commercial/ERP software is an advantage

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and partners

    • Negotiation skills aimed at securing better prices and terms with suppliers

    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks

    • Precision and attention to detail

  • Language
    • High-level proficiency in Bulgarian (written and spoken)

    • Very good command of written and spoken English

  • Responsibilities
    • Manage e-commerce platforms

    • Product knowledge, including brands and items

    • Support the procurement process, including purchasing assistance, negotiations, and supplier relationship management

    • Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock, and ensure timely replenishment

    • Communicate with suppliers and search for competitive prices

    • Update offers and report to management

    • Process and track orders, ensuring accurate handling and timely delivery to customers

    • Identify new sourcing channels

    • Identify emerging trends, new products, and potential suppliers

    • Maintain relationships with manufacturers and traders

    • Maintain and update product databases and client/product information

    • Resolve issues that arise in daily operations

    • Prepare reports and provide management with insights on procurement performance and key business metrics
