Senior AI Platform / DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain the platform infrastructure supporting BusinessGPT and AI Agent applications.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based environments and related cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using OpenTofu / Terraform and Crossplane.
- Manage application deployment and configuration using Helm and ArgoCD / GitOps practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Support Linux-based environments and PostgreSQL infrastructure, including backup and recovery mechanisms.
- Contribute to monitoring, observability, security, scalability and reliability of the platform.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and platform-related issues and contribute to their resolution.
- Collaborate closely with AI Engineering, Software Engineering and Platform Operations colleagues.
- Contribute flexibly across platform development, operations and continuous improvement as part of an integrated engineering team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure or a similar role.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenTofu / Terraform and Kubernetes-based infrastructure provisioning tools such as Crossplane
- Experience with Linux, relational databases and cloud / Kubernetes-based infrastructure
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI/CD
- Good understanding of Kubernetes-based platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD and automated infrastructure provisioning
- Good understanding of monitoring / observability, security, scalability and reliability of production platforms
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, ownership and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to contribute across platform development and operations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- German would be a plus, but is not a must.
- Fluent English.
