Senior Windows System Administrator
Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including security policies (ATP, Conditional Access, MFA, AIP), user accounts, licenses, and permissions.
- Administer and enhance Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management, including SSO, identity protection, and governance.
- Oversee Azure resource provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and cost optimization in a hybrid environment.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions (Azure Backup, Site Recovery).
- Manage Windows Server environments, DNS, and DHCP, and support hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure hosted in Equinix and Azure.
- Work with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V or VMware) and participate in process reviews, planned maintenance, and coordinated changes (approx. 90% planned work, 10% incident handling).
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients (approx. 50% internal projects / 50% client-facing).
- Maintain clear documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies, and contribute to improving operational standards.
- Support cross-team initiatives, migrations, and knowledge sharing with junior colleagues.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in Windows-based environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and identity/security configurations.
- Experience with Azure services and automation (PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of Active Directory (on-prem and Azure), DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Microsoft Defender is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of VMware, ESXi, or SCCM is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent English.
