SQL Developer (Tableau)
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support business reporting and analytics.
- Design, build, and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for stakeholders across marketing, content, product, and operations.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting systems.
- Automate recurring reporting processes and implement best practices for BI development.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL development and business intelligence or data analytics.
- Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, joins, CTEs, optimization, indexing, stored procedures, functions, and views).
- Proven experience designing and optimizing Tableau dashboards (calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, performance tuning).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Informatica, dbt) and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and data-driven environment.
- Fluent in English.
