For one of our clients – a leading software development company and award-winning game provider in the online casino industry, part of a fast-growing international tech group – we are looking for a precise and confident professional for the role of Internal Payroll Specialist.
This is a key in-house position where you will take full ownership of payroll operations for the Bulgarian entity while working in a dynamic, international gaming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Manage end-to-end, in-house payroll for the Bulgarian team accurately and on time;
*Ensure full compliance with Bulgarian labour, tax, and social security legislation;
*Calculate and remit taxes, social security contributions, health insurance, and other statutory payments (including NRA Declarations 1 and 6);
*Monitor legislative changes and ensure payroll processes remain compliant;
*Maintain accurate payroll documentation and ensure statutory record retention;
*Prepare monthly payroll reports and support audits when required;
*Handle payroll-related inquiries in Bulgarian and English, resolving discrepancies efficiently;
*Partner with HR and Finance on cases such as bonuses, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, and terminations;
*Communicate with relevant authorities and institutions, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met.

Requirements:
*Proven experience managing payroll independently in Bulgaria;
*Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour law, tax, and social security regulations;
*Experience with payroll systems and strong Excel skills;
*Excellent attention to detail and high level of confidentiality;
*Ability to interpret and apply legislative updates independently;
*Very good communication skills in Bulgarian and English;
*Experience in an international, tech, or fast-paced environment is a plus.
