Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
- Participate in the monthly and annual financial closing process.
- Support the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate the external audit process by preparing documentation and acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Design, implement, and maintain SOX controls to ensure effective financial reporting and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and financial closing.
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience with SOX or internal controls over financial reporting would be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Fluent English.
