IBI Co Ltd, a licensed recruitment agency (Certificate No. 2981), is recruiting on behalf of its client – an established international company in the financial services sector – an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team in Sofia.
The position is suitable for an experienced accounting professional with solid hands-on expertise, a very good command of English, and an interest in developing their career within an international corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting and control of administrative and operating expenses;
- VAT reporting;
- Preparation of analytical financial information for the Finance Director;
- Participation in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements;
- Preparation of reports for regulatory, management and other purposes;
- Working with accounting and financial information in SAP HANA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field;
- Solid hands-on professional accounting experience;
- Experience working with SAP HANA;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken, as a significant part of the working documentation and communication is in English;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
The Following Will Be Considered an Advantage:
- 2–3 years of previous experience in internal or external audit;
- Experience within an auditing firm;
- Experience within a financial institution or the financial services sector;
- Project management or project participation experience.
